About Us
Holmes Valley Quilters was founded January 2008 by Kathy Anderson, Angie Bush and Carol Kelley. Our members are from all over the beautiful, rural area of the Florida Panhandle, including the counties of Holmes, Washington, Jackson and Walton counties, once known as the Holmes Valley. At our very first meeting, which was held in Kathy's living room, we had 26 ladies in attendance. Over the years, we have grown and currently have 55 members, several of which are "Charter Members". We range in experience, skill and age. In fact we just welcomed our youngest member, Sarah W., (age 7) into our guild! We are very proud to have these "young people" join us and hope to continue to encourage admiration and interest in quilting in younger generations. 2010 Officers *Kathy Anderson - President Michelle Chitty - V.
